Presentation

  1. The directress writes two commands - one is transitive; the other is intransitive, i.e. walk and eat.
  2. It is observed that one child can perform while the other cannot, because he has no object.
  3. One action depended on having an object (to eat), while the other action depended solely on the child.
  4. Directress says: "Some verbs require an object while others require only someone to do it".
