Preparation
Presentation
- Directress lays out the Operational mat on the table.
- The Directress gives the child an addition table, e.g. 7 .
- Directress invites the child to build two triangles with 2 sets of Short Bead Stair.
- Directress shows the child how to work through a table based on the work card given, starting from 7 1, 7 2, ... and so on.
- Directress takes the bead 7 from the left hand triangle and then takes 1 bead from the right hand. Place it together and then count the total number of beads. Show the child how to record the answer.
- Directress then proceeds to 7 2 and so on until 7 9. Then the child may check with the Addition Tables.
