Preparation
This can be done as a group presentation.
Presentation
- Directress gathers the children together in a group around the dining table and shows them how to lay a table.
- Directress takes the materials placed on a tray and brings it to the dining table.
- She then takes the place mat setting diagram and puts it on the table.
- Then, she takes the knife, fork, spoon, napkin and plates out from the tray and place them according to the diagram.
- When the exercise is completed, Directress shows the children how to place the materials back to its place.
