- A jug.
- A slim neck container.
- A funnel.
- A sponge.
- A tray.
Preparation
This is an individual presentation.
Presentation
- Directress shows the child how to carry the materials on a tray to the table, introduces the funnel.
- She shows the child how to pour using the funnel.
- Directress places the funnel into the slim neck container.
- Directress shows the child how to hold the handle of the jug by graping the handle between the thumb and index finger.
- Tilt the jug.
- Support the jug by placing the index and middle fingers of the other hand just below the spout of the jug.
- Make sure that the tip of the spout is not touching the funnel.
- Pour the water into the container through the funnel slowly.
- When finished pouring, place the jug down on the tray.
- Take the funnel out from the slim neck container and dab the slim neck on the funnel with the sponge to dry it.
- Then, pour the water from the slim neck container back into the jug.
- When Directress has finished demonstrating, allow the child to try it.

If water is spilled, Directress shows the child how to dry it up using the sponge.
