- Place work page and movable alphabet box on table.
- Directress says the name of the picture and sound out initial consonant.
- Place that consonant on the picture (Use letters from small movable alphabet box).

If a child has mastered only a few consonants, he may place the letter only on the pictures of the consonant being stressed.
